Toiling in the Kitchen
This is one reason why I am glad I DO NOT use the communal fridge in the break room at work.

Slack'n
Yeah I have been, but I am currently looking into ways of updating this site. In the meantime, check out Somafm. I have been lisenting to it on and off since college (about 4 years now). They have great ambiance or droning type music on GooveSalad. I usually listen to it off of Shoutcast or throu Winamp. Its nice when you need to do some work and opt to spend the evening without the TV on.

Earos & JayDukes
Yay! For a change I got out for a Saturday night. At the invitation of one JayDukes I got to see a wonderful band by the name of Earos. They did some pretty good covers and some original stuff which is pretty good as well. Got to meet the lead singer Adam who reminded me of an old boyfriend (Andrew - who's last band Born To Please is on my links page).
Here is the evidence that I was there last night...

Today, I am actually going into work. I am volunteering 3 hours of my time to take calls for FEMA. The movie Office Space will also be along for the ride.
Update
FEMA thing got cancelled...

I Bring You Culture!
Hmm...lets see...something from my Mom's side and something from my Dad's side. In the first one, some of you may pick up on "Sentimental Reasons" and for those of you who follow jazz should be somewhat familiar with Hugh Masekela.
And who says your mother's generation didn't have a sense of humor? Its Sparrow circa the 1950s.

'Caine
Mom and Dad. Stop calling. We're about 150 miles inland. The storm is like a Category 1. The most we'll get is some bands of rain and maybe some wind.
Other stuff
Ctrl+Alt+Del has a pretty good comic on the whole 360 situation.
And for some reason, I am listening to Sting...I mean ALOT of Sting. Damn! He's still soo sexy. The Mercury Falling Tour was one of the best concerts I've attended.
